The sisters of Epsilon Phi Chapter congratulate Yeonjean Gahng, our returning Mr. University winner of 2009!

Mr. University is Epsilon Phi Chapter’s annual philanthropy fundraiser. The sisters organize and run a male pageant, drawing participants from the male population of the University community. Each year Mr. University includes a myriad of contestants from the graduate as well as the undergraduate student body. Contestants don’t just have to look good in a swimsuit or snappy in tux, all our boys have to prove their worth and entertain the crowd with a talent and their quick wit. All proceeds from Mr. University are donated directly to the fraternity's philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). A small portion is also donated to The Theta Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships for undergraduate and graduate Thetas. Money is raised through private donations as well as the sale of event and raffle tickets. Without the help of the many businesses and individuals who donate prizes for our raffle, Mr. University would not be able to achieve such great success. This year, thanks to all of those who attended, bought raffle tickets and made donations, we were able to raise over $5,000 in support of CASA and the Foundation. For more information on CASA please see the Philanthropy section of this site.
